Nachdem der Spielbetrieb in der ersten und zweiten Bundesliga nun schon wieder seit einigen Wochen läuft, gerät gerne mal in den Hintergrund, dass die Fortführung der aktuellen Spielzeit nach wie vor unter Bewährung steht. Jederzeit können verschiedene Ereignisse, etwa ein großflächiger Ausbruch des Coronavirus bei einer teilnehmenden Mannschaft, das Vorhaben, die Spielzeit zu beenden, massiv gefährden. Dass in solch sensiblen Zeiten die Dortmunder Jadon Sancho, Dan Axel Zagadou & Co. mit einem aktiven Regelbruch der Hygienevorschriften in den sozialen Netzwerken prahlen, ist daher nicht gerade förderlich. Sancho’s Reaktion macht den Sachverhalt nicht einfacher.
Was passiert ist, dürfte hinlänglich bekannt sein. Und es gibt wohl niemanden, der den angeblich sechs beteiligten BVB-Profis einen Haarschnitt verwehren möchte – schließlich sind Friseursalons auch für die Allgemeinheit schon seit längerer Zeit wieder geöffnet. Doch dass dabei die geltenden Schutzmaßnahmen aktiv missachtet werden und dies dann auch noch proaktiv von den Spielern verbreitet wird, ist mehr als problematisch. Nach Aussage der Betroffenen wurden die Schutzmasken und Handschuhe lediglich für die Fotos abgenommen. Das würde aber nicht nur das zuvor penible Befolgen der Hygieneregeln zur Farce machen, sondern wirkt auch nicht sonderlich glaubhaft – denn wieso sollten die Beteiligten nur dann die Regeln brechen, wenn die Öffentlichkeit zusehen kann?
Zur Erinnerung: Heiko Herrlich, Cheftrainer des FC Augsburg, musste nach seinem verbotenen Drogerieeinkauf ein Spiel aussetzen. Gerade Jadon Sancho umgeht eine solche Sperre wohl unter anderem durch die Tatsache, dass er einer der Starspieler der Liga und dementsprechend wichtig für die Vermarktung dieser ist. Sein heute Abend abgesetzter Tweet als Reaktion auf die von der DFL verhängte Geldstrafe (“Absolute Joke DFL!”) lässt darauf schließen, dass ihm die Ernsthaftigkeit der Situation leider nach wie vor nicht bewusst ist. Sollten die Fehltritte à la Kalou, Herrlich und Sancho nicht bald aufhören, ist der Ligabetrieb weiterhin der stetigen Gefahr einer erneuten Unterbrechung ausgesetzt. Es wäre daher wohl im Sinne aller Beteiligten, ein Fehlverhalten wie dieses konsequent zu sanktionieren, damit auch jedem bewusst wird, auf welch dünnem Eis sich das Projekt Re-Start bewegt.
